Employee wellbeing with a whole person/whole life approach.

Workshops & Seminars

My workshops and seminars are designed to support employees and teams in their wellbeing and development not just at work, but in their whole lives. When people feel supported and fulfilled, they show up more confident and satisfied in their workplaces.

My facilitation style is relatable and refreshing and I always aim to incorporate an experiential element for participants to immerse in. It’s important to me to foster a safe space for meaningful discussion and personal reflection, while taking into account the unique culture of each workplace and environment.

All workshops and seminars can be tailored to be delivered in person or virtually as a webinar. I pride myself on being able to effectively customize content to fit your specific needs. The examples below are ready to go, but together we can customize them to fit your vision.

For webinars I’m willing to work with your preferred platform.  I typically use Zoom but have also worked with Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and internal platforms at various organizations.

What Clients Are Saying….

Kim Manson, Director of Marketing, Mevotech LP

“The content in Jenny’s seminar Running on Rest, was the perfect fit for Mevotech’s Women’s Network offsite. We were looking for an engaging session to help our employees feel empowered and motivated to conquer the world, and Jenny did just that.

By walking us through the 7 types of rest and the 7 types of depletion she taught us how to reframe elements of our lives in terms of how they fuel us.

Every attendee left with their own personalized REST prescription to implement immediately. We surveyed attendees and Jenny’s session scored an overall satisfaction score of 96%.

It was a huge hit, and we can’t wait to have her back.

Highly recommend!”

Jessica Park, Head of Marketing, Canada, JPMorgan Chase & Co.

“I cannot say enough about Jenny as a coach, session leader and human being. Jenny ran the best session I have ever participated in as a leader, bringing a very close team even closer with raw emotions and real conversations.

Running on Rest was the start to all of us embracing what it means to really recharge and I hope every leader can have their teams participate. Her ability to empathize and engage with the team to open up was magical.

Thanks Jenny!”

Running on Rest: A Prescription for Employee Burnout Prevention.

Rest is medicine. This seminar will help employees write their own prescription so they can run on rest, instead of on empty.

We always hear that self-care and rest are crucial to overall wellness, but a huge stumbling block is that many people don’t even know how to properly define those things for themselves, let alone make space for them.

There is a way to be both busy and rested, with a mindset shift that when put into action, can help employees get ahead of burnout and take better care of themselves so they show up at their absolute best for the demands of work and life.

This seminar will empower employees to take ownership of their self-care by offering a shift in perspective, revealing the different types of rest available to all of us (it’s way more than just sleep!), the difference between rest and relaxation, and the impact of authentic, sustainable self-care on performance.

Self-Compassion in the Workplace - Learning Tools of Inner Strength

Research has shown that self-compassionate people are more compassionate toward others. Workplaces looking to have a more connected, engaged culture, need to begin by helping employees harness compassion for themselves.

I love creating custom programming for organizations and leading employees in immersive self-compassion exercises so they learn by experiencing the power of these tools rather than just being lectured about it.

I have many practices and exercises that can be customized to fit an organization or team’s specific needs. Let’s chat about what’s possible!

Self-Compassion in The Workplace Sessions Testimonials

“Jenny Tryansky facilitated a Finding Your Compassionate Voice Workshop and I was very grateful I made the time to attend! She armed us with a tool that can help us succeed whenever we face challenges in life. Through the session she educated us on the importance of self-compassion, and the guided mediation reminded me what I need to hear and tell myself during high-stress situations. It reminded me to ignore my inner saboteur and move through tough situations with patience and kindness to myself. This session is what our workforce needed, and it reminded us that if we are compassionate to ourselves, we can provide better compassionate care for others!”

— Arian Flores, Organizational Development Specialist, Human Resources, William Osler Health System

Goblin or Guide: How to Work With Your Inner Critic

My signature workshop supports employees and individuals in their struggle with self-doubt, imposter syndrome and feelings of being lesser than. Ideal for high-impact and pressure-fuelled environments and teams.

People who are ‘hard on themselves’ always know it and often believe that’s just the way they’re built. We tell ourselves a lot of lies that don’t serve us and they block us from bringing the best version of ourselves to life and work.

Until we’re ready to make the choice to work differently with all parts of our complex selves, we imprison ourselves with layers of harmful self-talk causing us to be reactive, negative and doubtful of ourselves and even of life itself.

We all have a self-critical voice within. No matter how confident a person appears on the outside, the inner critic is an essential part of being human. It’s a convincing inner presence that leads many of us to experience imposter syndrome, overwhelm, anxiety and feelings of being lesser than.

But it doesn’t have to drive our lives.

Its impact can be diminished once we understand how to work with this tricky little goblin voice and embrace that it also has some crucial guidance to offer.

This seminar isn’t about silencing or pushing away the inner voice. It’s about embracing this tricky human part of ourselves and discerning what’s helpful and what’s harmful so we can make good, informed choices in any situation or circumstance.

Let’s stop trying to eradicate parts of ourselves and instead allow the most effective, helpful and inspired parts of ourselves to lead us in life. How we access that is by distinguishing what’s true and useful from what our judgmental minds make up.

When we choose to live awake, aware and consciously, our inner confidence blossoms, and we move forward with strength and positive intention.

Participants will leave with practical tools to lean on to harness their inner critic and navigate to self-compassion and strength. The workshop will empower employees to interrupt old harmful habits and patterns, show up strong, respond empathetically and set positive examples for team members, colleagues and the surrounding environment.

Inner Critic Workshop Testimonials

“Jenny helped me understand what my Inner Critic sounds like and provided me with tools to work with this voice and reset to self-compassion over self-deprecation. I think everyone needs to hear this.”

— Jessica, Recruiter at Indigo Books & Music Inc.

“Jenny gave a phenomenal talk at Google on the topic of Imposter Syndrome, something we experience all too often here. Her ability to empathize with her audience and communicate the intangibles of a restricting mentality left a visceral impression on nearly every attendee. I would highly recommend Jenny as a speaker for any hard-driving organization that cares about their people and empowering them to do their best work.”

— Employee, Google

“She got me to look at something I've been doing all my life in a completely different way. It didn't take long to get there and she did it in a way that was a real "ah ha" moment that will stay with me.”

Compassionate Leadership: leading with your head and heart to nurture effective, connected, committed teams

Leading a team effectively - and ultimately building a culture where employees are engaged, happy and want to work hard and collaborate to deliver a great project - requires leaders who know the difference between being in charge and leading a charge.

This workshop will empower your leaders with new perspectives, skills and areas for growth that, when put into practice, have the power to transform the company culture, increase talent retention and lead to higher satisfaction and a more positive employee experience.

Participants will engage in and understand the proven value and impact of compassion and self-compassion in leadership. They’ll gain insight into why giving and receiving feedback can be so challenging, and learn tools to approach those tough conversations with compassion and authenticity.

Effective leadership requires courage over comfort, and a commitment to candor, curiosity, clarity and transparency.

It means learning to do hard things in a human way.

When leaders begin to notice, feel and actively respond to the stress, pain and struggle of their team members in the work environment, a culture shift happens. When people who are in distress know that they are seen, safe, cared about and advocated for, they want to work hard and stay loyal to their workplace. All of this requires compassionate leadership, and this workshop will arm leaders with the tools needed to show up more human at work.

Compassionate Leadership Workshop Testimonial

“Jenny recently came into run a compassionate leadership seminar with our management team. It was informative, engaging and thought provoking! Jenny brought some real-life experiences to her seminar which everyone could really relate to. She spoke about leading with compassion while having self-compassion - two things that go hand in hand. She managed to spark a lot of conversation which continued well after she was done - something I hoped would happen!

What I was happy to see was that people were taking the practical tools and strategies that Jenny spoke about, and started applying them almost immediately. I even saw communication between some teams change! Jenny spoke about living above and below the line. I’ve had several people tell me that they are making a conscious effort to change where they sit. I’m happy to say that most people left their time with Jenny focussed on moving above the line: ) I have continued to see many improvements since this seminar. I am grateful to Jenny for the impact she continues to have on my team, and would highly recommend her services.”

— Josie Crimi, EVP Development & Production, Scott Brothers Entertainment

More Workshop Testimonials

“She is able to vocalize, normalize (and humanize) everyday challenges - which is indicative of any good coach - but her unique differentiator is how she provides easy-to-follow frameworks to action on your learnings far after her session has ended. Jenny is a gifted listener, a strong advisor and anyone who has the chance to attend one of her workshops will reap immediate reward!”

— Jordana, Employee at Google

“As a leader, I find it challenging to stop, focus on my needs first. Everyone has needs and trying to meet some of your own makes it a win for the circle of relationships around you. Jenny brings insights with warmth, humour, examples, as well as guidance through interactive dialogue and tools I can put in place. I highly recommend this workshop.”

— Catherine, Employee at Indigo Books & Music Inc.

“Jenny’s self-care workshop was a great reminder that true nurturing of the self does not come in the form of a bubble bath or even a professional massage. It's an internal reckoning and it takes a lot of work, but it is so important. Jenny is a great champion of self-acceptance and self-compassion as the foundation for building a true practice of selfcare.”
